Farewell Lisa!!!

Idk if any of you watch or follow the WNBA but one of the pioneer's of womans basketball Lisa Leslie is going to retire at the end of this season. She's been in the WNBA for 12 years and she's going to hang up her kicks at the seasons end, so far in her 12 year career she is avering 17.4 points per game 2.3 blocks per game and 9.3 rebounds with 7 All-Star game appearances. She is a three-time WNBA MVP and a four-time Olympic Gold Medalist and to put the icing on the cake she won 2 WNBA Championships.

Derrick Rose and College Basketball

Whats going on out there world? This is Greg again and I'd like to address an issue that has bothered me for a while now. This Derrick Rose issue abot tht he didnt take his SAT in school and majority of the media is kind of attacking him and saying that he should just come forward and admit what happen and other things. Well lets get this straight for all of those who don't know this has been going on for years and years players that are highly regarded since high school and have always had the media attention on them, have other students take the SAT for them because they can't pass it lets get real here everyone knows that this has been done for a long time.I've heard plenty of players say that played basketball at prep schools say that if they cant pass it they'll just have somebody take it for them. The NCAA has been turning its back since day one, and then when it comes out they try to act all suprised and want to penlize schools and take away scholarships. If the NCAA wants to start cracking down on this they have a right to but dont wait until a player is drafted and into the NBA to try to find some dirt on him. The right thing to do is just find the error before the player signs the letter of intent and process his addmission papers. Therefore they'll be no issue's about this. My point is if you didnt catch the error when it happen then its to late I mean by attacking him how can that hurt him or his image? He's won Rookie Of The Year and took his team to the playoff's and his has a shoe deal with Addias and a nice contract so life is swell and well for Derrick Rose right now. So please people dont act suprised that this has happened because he isnt the first player that has done this and he's not going to be the last but lets not awestruck that this goes on because hell this country was built on crockedness....

What A Game!!!!

Believe it or not I actually thought Orlando had a chance at winning this series, but Im not going to give up so easy because I've always believed in Magic. HAHAHA that's so corny but anyways. I didn't think that Andrew Bynum was going to play like that. I mean the man is only averaging 6.3 points per game and 3.6 rebounds a game in the playoff's and he came out very strong and surpast his stats in the first quarter. And there was no answer for Kobe Bryant I mean no answer the man did what he wanted to do whenever he wanted to do it. Lamar Odom even played good and whenever he plays at a high level there is nobody that can beat the Lakers. I do give credit when credit is due the Lakers played one hell of a game but lets be honest now Orlando only shot 29% from the field and 34% behind the three point arch, lets be honest Orlando is not going to shoot that bad every game in a seven game series, that's just not possible. One adjustment that the Magic need to make is that Courtney Lee cant guard Kobe because he is just way to small I mean Kobe was doing what he wanted to do with him hell even Luke Walton was having his way with him and that's enough said. Orlando will make the proper adjustments and comback to play hard in game 2 and hopefully its worth me watching.

Congrats To Randy Johnson

Whats going on everybody I dont know if any of you follow baseball but Randy Johnson a.k.a The Big Unit won his 300th game last night against the Washington Nationals. The Big Unit has always been my favorite pitcher in the MLB for as long as I remember and I'm glad to see him hit this milstone he already as a World Series Championship in which he won with the Arizona Diamondbacks. He is now for sure headed to the Baseball Hall Of Fame. Yes his best years are behind him I mean this year statistcally speaking he's having the worst year of his 22 year career his ERA is 5.12 and his record is 5-4 but lets be honest here The Big Unit a.k.a Master Of The Slidder still has some life in him. But anyway Congrats.

Predications

Whats going on everybody you know that the NBA Finals start tonight and I just wanted to get predictions to who is going to win the series. Me personally I think Orlando is going to upset the Lakers in six games, just because I see to many match up problems for the Lakers. Kobe cant guard Lewis and Turkoglu at the same time because if he either one somebody will have a miss match, and yes you can say that Lamar Odom can guard Lewis and Turkoglu but Lamar Odom only plays good one game out of seven so he is inconsistant. You can always try Trevor Ariza but he's just two small because both Lewis and Turkoglu are both 6'10 and Trevor Ariza is just 6'7. Then the big question is who is going to guard Dwight Howard???? I mean you can put Gasol on him but then again he is to small and not as quick as Dwight so there is two problems if you say not Gasol then we can put Bynum on him then here comes another problem his knee still isn't 100% healthy and he's way to slow so regardless who's going to guard him he's going to produce and put up big numbers like he's been doing all year and all playoff. Now on the flip side of that Orlando has nobody to guard Kobe Bryant a.k.a The Black Mamba, but I mean hey lets be honest no one in the NBA can guard him but besides that I dont see any mismatches on the side of Orlando. Also a huge advantage that the Lakers have is Coaching because Phil Jackson can out coach Stan Van Gundy anyday off the week and plus Phil has finals experience as well as the Lakers so those can both play apart in the series. Check out the out both the Orlando Magic and L.A. Lakers got to the NBA's Biggest Stage
